St. Barts has a wide array of perfect beaches for families, like Marigot Beach, with its calm waters and private atmosphere, and Flamands Beach, an ideal spot for a chic picnic surrounded by nature.

We recommend waking up early and packing everything you may need, from juicy snacks and refreshing drinks to a beach ball, a shovel, a bucket, and, of course, a pair of goggles to take a refreshing dip in the always sparkling waters of the St. Barts sea. Get ready to spend an unforgettable seaside fun day from dawn till dusk!

Water sports for all ages

When traveling with energetic kids looking for an adventure, water sports are an excellent option for a fun and even educational activity, easily accessible for all ages. Should you and your little ones decide to explore the colorful underwater life, you can ask for snorkeling equipment and dive right into it. While swimming, you may even see a kind sea turtle welcoming you into their home or find a few starfishes lying around!

If your kids are a little bit older, entering their teens, and looking for stronger emotions, then you may want to book a surf lesson. With a specialist accompanying them all the way, your kids will feel like kings, dominating the waves and enjoying themselves like never before. And hey, perhaps they will discover a new hobby, who knows?

Last but not least, for the entire family to spend a wonderful moment, you can go out kayaking as a group. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the island from another perspective, and take incredible pictures of all of you having fun together.

Plane watching

One of our personal favorites. When standing in St. Jean Beach, you can see the many planes coming and going, as the location is quite close to the Gustaff III airport. From early on in the morning and until around 6:00 in the afternoon – the time in which the daily flight schedule is over –, we recommend taking a soft towel, placing it on the ground, and laying down on it to appreciate the spectacle of travelers moving to and from our beautiful island.

You can even take slow-motion videos and creative pics, waving at the pilot or jumping at the exact same time the plane is above your head. Your kids will love it, and you will, too.
